Flat fire in Yeovil

TWO fire engines from Yeovil were mobilised this morning (Friday, November 15, 2013) following a fire at a flat in the town.

The alarm was raised just before 8.45am to the incident at a flat in Cavalier Walk, Yeovil.

A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews found that there had been a small fire within a storage heater in a lounge.”

The fire was out by the time officers arrived at the scene, but they made the property safe.
