Fire at home in West Coker Road

FIREFIGHTERS were called out early this morning (Wednesday, October 9, 2013) to deal with a fire at a property in Yeovil.

The alarm was raised at just before 1am to a home in West Coker Road and two fire engines from Yeovil were mobilised.

Firefighters found a fire within a single storey annexe to a main property and that it was confined to the lounge area.

A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.”
