Burglary at the One Stop Shop in Yeovil

A BURGLARY investigation has begun after money was stolen from a safe at a shop in Yeovil.

The incident happened at around 2am at the One Stop Shop in Runnymede Road this morning (Wednesday, September 18). Offenders wearing balaclavas broke in at the back of the shop and stole money from the safe.

A police spokesman said: "An investigation has begun and several lines of enquiry are being pursued in a bid to identify the offenders and locate the stolen money."
