Frying pan fire in Yeovil

TWO fire engines were mobilised to deal with a kitchen fire this afternoon (September 8) at a home in Yeovil.

The alarm was raised at around 12.30pm to the incident in Larkhill Road.

Firefighters were able to confirm that nobody was inside the property and that the fire – involving a frying pan - was out.

A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews inspected the property to ensure it was safe for the occupant to return.”
