TWO fire engines from Yeovil were called out this morning (Friday, August 9) after getting reports of “flames and smoke” coming from an electrical sub-station.

The alarm was raised at just after 5.30am to the incident at Court Lane in Stoford.

On arrival fire officers discovered smoke and due to the risks they had the power isolated and allowed the fire to burn out under their control.
