Man needs medical help after grill pan fire in Yeovil
ONE male casualty needed medical help tonight (Sunday, April 28, 2013) following a kitchen fire at a home in Yeovil.
The alarm was raised just after 8pm to a fire in Sandringham Road, Yeovil, and two fire engines attended and found that the incident involved a grill pan.
Officers confirmed a kitchen fire and requested the attendance of an ambulance for one adult male suffering from smoke inhalation.
A Fire Service spokesman said: ‘’Fire crews rendered oxygen therapy to a man who was suffering from smoke inhalation and he was left in the care of ambulance crews.
‘’The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.’’
