Female rescued after car smash
A FEMALE had to be rescued following a road traffic accident at Montacute earlier today (Friday, March 29).
Fire engines from Yeovil and Martock attended the incident in Montacute Road, Montacute, after the alarm was raised at around 10.30am.
A spokesman for the Fire Service said that a female, who was ‘medically trapped’, was released by firefighters after the vehicle was ‘stabilised using hydraulic rescue equipment.’
