ONE person was taken to hospital yesterday after a road accident in Yeovil.

Three fire engines were mobilised to the scene in Cavalier Way, Yeovil, at just before 3pm following reports of a single-vehicle accident.

On arrival they found one person trapped inside the vehicle and they used cutting equipment to remove the casualty.

The person was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
