Burglary in Yeovil

PEOPLE are being urged to look at their home security after a burglary at a property in Yeovil.

A burglary took place yesterday (Thursday, February 28) at a property located on the junction of Chelston Avenue and Milford Road.

A police spokesman said: "The offender was disturbed and it is believed they ran from the property in the direction of Highfield Road.

"The burglary took place at about 7.50pm -  the area would have been fairly busy at the time."

The spokesman added: "Officers would urge people to take measures to secure their propertyies."
