Yeovil Beer Festival: Pressed Rat & Warthog, Rock Lobster and Star Gazer all on the menu!

A FINE mouth-watering and intriguing assortment of real ales and ciders are being lined-up to keep crowds happy at the forthcoming Yeovil Beer Festival.

The festival will be held from 6pm to 11pm on Friday, April 5, and from 12noon to 11pm on Saturday, April 6, at Yeovil College in Mudford Road.

There will be real ales, ciders, wine, music and great hot food and it will be an event for all.

The community event is a joint venture between Yeovil Round Table, Lions Club of Yeovil and staff and students of Yeovil College to raise money for local causes.

More than 1,000 beer enthusiasts from across South Somerset are expected to sample the 50 real ales and ten traditional ciders.

And to give you a taste of what is to come – how do these tipples sound….Glory, Lynx Wildcat, Star Gazer, First Gold, Inncognito, Rock Lobster, Pressed Rat and Warthog, Midnight Special and Cirrus Minor.

Hot food is being supplied by catering students from Yeovil College, while live music will be provided by six local bands who have pledged their support.

Ticket price is only £5 per day which will get you entry to the beer festival, a FREE Yeovil Beer Festival glass and programme. Tokens will then cost £1.50 per half pint of beer or cider.
