Just what the Doctor ordered at University Centre

THE University Centre Yeovil is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Paul Bailey (pictured) as its Director of Higher Education.

Yeovil College vice principal, Jayne Lewis, said: “We are thrilled that Paul has joined us at a very exciting time of growth for the University Centre and we hope to use Paul’s substantial knowledge and experience to drive the centre forward to provide an extended range of programmes and university-level skills and training for the local community and employers.”

Dr Bailey has an extensive background in higher education that has seen him undertake opportunities across the globe, teaching and leading programmes across Asia and Europe, as well as working in connection with the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and many other states.

Dr Bailey said: “I am really excited about my new post and am looking forward to making a difference at the University Centre and helping staff and students grow from strength to strength.

'I see great potential in the development of higher education programmes at the university centre in meeting the needs of individuals and employers, to help them to gain the best from their potential. I look forward to a successful 2013.”
