Casualty rescued from Cartgate accident
ONE person had to be freed from the wreckage following an accident earlier today on the A3088 Cartgate link road on the outskirts of Yeovil.
Two fire engines and a rescue tender from Yeovil were mobilised at just before 11.30am to the incident.
Officers found the accident involved one 4x4 vehicle and a trailer with one person trapped inside. Crews got to work using road rescue equipment to stabilise the vehicle and removed the roof to allow paramedics to access the casualty.
