Car on roof on A30 at Haselbury Plucknett

THE Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service responded to an accident this evening on the A30 at Haselbury Plucknett involving one vehicle.

The alarm was raised by the South West Ambulance Service about an accident involving a car on its roof and on fire at just after 5pm.

Firefighters from Crewkerne and Yeovil attended the scene.

A Fire Service spokesman said: ''The incident involved one casualty who was in the hands of the paramedics.''
