Facebook photos of The Bell Inn fire

FACEBOOK users have been uploading dramatic photos of the fire which has gutted Yeovil pub, The Bell Inn, overnight.

The alarm was raised just after 4am to the pub, also known as the Hungry Horse, in Preston Road with flames ripping through the roof of the two-storey building.

People at the scene early were able to take dramatic photos which have since been appearing on the Facebook social networking site this morning.

FIREFIGHTERS from across Somerset including Yeovil, Chard, Ilminster, Somerton, Martock, Burnham-on-Sea, Bridgwater and Taunton all attended the devastating fire at The Bell Inn overnight, along with officers from Sherborne.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
