Variety show coins in cash for Yeovil District Hospital

A VARIETY show held in Milborne Port village hall has raised £2,150 for Yeovil District Hospital’s urology department.

The show was organised by Graham Pinkawa after receiving treatment in the hospital. Graham received support of local businesses who donated draw prizes and the printing of the programme.

The show was held on two nights with a variety of performances ranging from jazz singing, ballroom and Latin dancing, choir singing as well as other acts.

The money raised was split between the urology department at Yeovil District Hospital and St Margaret’s Hospice.

The urology department deals with the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the kidneys, bladder, prostate and male reproductive organs.
