Woman gets stuck in the floods
TWO fire engines from Yeovil were called out yesterday to deal with a car which had got stuck in floodwater near Yeovilton.
The alarm was raised at just before 5.30pm about floodwater on the B3151 from Stickwitch Cross to Bridgehampton.
Fire officers helped a female occupant of the car to safety, while the road was closed by the highways department due to the depth of the floodwater.
