Kayleigh and dance partner Glenn Boyce (pictured), who comes from Bournemouth, won the Juvenile Under-12s Latin and Ballroom titles in both restricted and open categories in the first two days of a dance festival last weekend.

The final day saw the duo dance for the title for World Under-14s Junior Ballroom championship and became the first juveniles to win that as well - what an achievement.

The pair have now been dancing together for one year, becoming a record-breaking partnership. At their debut in their first major they secured runners-up in the British Open Juvenile Latin-American Championship and third in the Open British Ballroom Championship.

Later in April they overcame their rivals from Blackpool when they won both Ballroom and Latin-American in Moscow and then became the reigning European Juvenile Champions in Ukraine in both styles.

Nationally, they won every event in 2012 in which they participated, including the UK closed double and the British National double.

Internationally, they have become Open Champions in Russia, Ukraine, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Estonia and Singapore in both Ballroom and Latin-American disciplines.

Following their earlier European Championship success, Glenn and Kayleigh won the WDC World Cup, BDC International Standard, and an unprecedented five WDC World Championship titles by the conclusion of 2012 in all Juvenile categories.

Regulations at overseas events made it possible for Glenn and Kayleigh to already compete above their age category with Juniors. At this level they won the WDC Mannheim German Open Junior Under 14 Ballroom and Latin-American and the WDC  Singapore Open Junior Under 16 Ballroom and Latin-American Championships.

Their proudest achievement in the past 12 months was taking the title of World U14 Junior Ballroom Champions last weekend, thereby becoming the first ever Juveniles to win the Junior World Championship.
