Stanchester's in the picture for 2013

STANCHESTER Academy at Stoke-sub-Hamdon held a photography competition which was open to all students, parents and members of the local community.

A photograph based on the theme ‘places’ was to be entered and must have been taken by the entrant.  The photographs were judged and the top 12 entries were chosen to represent a month within a calendar.

The 2013 calendars have now been professionally printed as a Slim Line version and also a Family Organiser version and are available to be bought via the school office.

A school spokesman said: '' We would like to say thank you to all the local business who supported the calendar, these have been listed on the back page of both calendars.''
