Little Britain star is a BIG hit in Yeovil

HUNDREDS of people queued up today to meet Little Britain star and Britain's Got Talent judge, David Walliams (pictured), at Waterstone's book store in Yeovil.

Many had queued for several hours before getting the chance to meet the popular celebrity who was in Yeovil to sign copies of his latest book, an autobiography entitled Camp David.

Walliams arrived in plenty of time for the 12.30pm book signing session and he entered the store and welcomed the awaiting crowds. ''Hello Yeovil,'' he declared.

He then had a short photo shoot with Yeovil Press photographer, Christine Jones, before announcing 'thank you Yeovil' and pretending to turn and leave the store!

Walliams spent time talking with people and having photos taken with them and it was obvious that he was a big hit with the waiting public.

''He was a real gentleman,'' said one woman on leaving the store with her signed copy of Camp David firmly in her grasp.
