LEADING garage door manufacturer, Garador has raised £150 for Macmillan Cancer Support by taking part in the recent ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ event.   Garador coins in cash for Macmillan

The event took place at the Garador head office in Yeovil where all of the office staff showed off their baking skills.The company has now gathered their donation and is proud to present Macmillan with a cheque for £150.

Simon Hipgrave, managing director of Garador, said: “The whole team were really enthusiastic and keen to put their culinary skills to good use for a great charitable cause.
 
“Even those that aren’t necessarily the best bakers contributed by donating ingredients; IT technician John Fowler keeps his own chickens and donated some eggs.”
 
The World's Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan Cancer Support's biggest fundraising event. Last year's coffee mornings helped raise a record £10 million for people living with cancer, when over 51,000 people around the country took part.
 
The team at Garador enjoyed homemade victoria sponges, devils food cake, carrot cakes and many more, and Simon is thrilled that the company has contributed to the Macmillan charity.

Simon added: “It was a lovely morning and we’re happy to help a worthwhile charity that is trying to make a difference.”
