Certificates for E. R. Garrett Ltd staff
STAFF at an Ilchester-based cleaning company have certainly 'cleaned up' in their qualifications.
Seven members of E. R. Garrett Ltd, which has its headquarters at Esmonde Drive, received certificates from vocational education authority City and Guilds for Level Two in cleaning and support service skills.
The company's contracts manager, Mel Davis, also received Stages One and Two cleaning operators proficiency certificates administered by the British Institute of Cleaning Science.
Presenting the certificates was Paul Organ, managing director of training provider M&O Training, of Bristol, while on hand was assessor Ian Hilborne who helped the E. R. Garrett staff through their qualifications.
The presentation ceremony took place at Sherborne Preparatory School where E. R. Garrett carry out the contract cleaning. School bursar Ed Flute attended the presentation.
A school spokesman said: ''E. R. Garrett are thorough, efficient and highly responsive to our ever-changing requirements, always retaining a cheerful and positive demeanour. I would thoroughly recommend them.''
Staff receiving City and Guilds certificates were Sharnah Puddy, Mariola Kobos, Tracey Card, Angela Broomfield, Amanda Austin and Lee Manning.
