New Jaguar and Land Rover garage launched by world famous motor museum

THE successful and well established Haynes International Motor Museum in Sparkford, an educational charitable trust, has announced that it is extending its garage services to specialise in looking after Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles.

As well as looking after the museum’s own vast collection of over 400 vehicles, Haynes' busy workshops in Sparkford, near Yeovil, also look after the cars of the general public with over 1900 existing customers to date.

A significant investment has been made by the museum in Jaguar and Land Rover official factory training, tools, and diagnostic equipment, which will now allow Haynes Garage Services to service and maintain Jaguar and Land Rover cars in the same way as a main dealer and at a most competitive rate.

The World-famous Haynes International Motor Museum has an extensive historic and modern Jaguar collection and an early example of the Land Rover.

Sales of Jaguar and Land Rover have increased significantly over the last four years since Tata Motors Ltd bought them and Haynes Garage Services already have a significant number of existing Jaguar and Land Rover customers.

Workshop manager, Bradley Mauger, stated: "With life being so busy for everyone and these cars needing specialist equipment to be able to properly maintain them, we decided to make the investment to help local Jaguar and Land Rover owners.

''We hope it will prove popular, as it will save them a lot of time and expense not having to go out of the area to have their car maintained and serviced.  Jaguar and Land Rover owners can also feel assured that they are getting the same level of expertise that a main dealer would provide, if not better, when it comes to the classic vehicles."

Museum managing director, Marc Haynes, added: “The museum is delighted to have the opportunity of serving the local Jaguar and Land Rover community and Bradley deserves credit for this exciting initiative.  The funds raised from the museum's trading businesses make a contribution to help finance the museum, an educational charitable trust that doesn’t take a penny of tax payers' money.”
