Information on courses at the University Centre Yeovil

THINKING of continuing or returning to Higher Education? The University Centre Yeovil will be holding an Information Event on Friday, October 12, between 2pm and 4pm.

The University Centre is a partnership between BournemouthUniversity, the University of the West of England, the University of Gloucestershire, SwanseaMetropolitanUniversity and YeovilCollege.

It is dedicated to the provision of Higher Education in Yeovil and offers a range of full and part-time university-level and professional courses including Foundation and Honours degrees.

Access courses are also available for those wishing to build knowledge and confidence before embarking on a HE course.

Tutors will be available at the information event to provide advice about the courses on offer and specialist support staff will also be on hand to discuss finance, accommodation and other aspects of studying at the University Centre.

The University of Gloucestershire has recently begun working with the University Centre, enabling several new courses to be offered.

These include a Masters or Honours degree in Personal and Professional Development, Honours degree in English with History or History with English and Foundation degree in Print.

Exciting developments with SwanseaMetropolitanUniversity have also led to the creation of a BEng (Hons) Materials Engineering (Top Up) which is available from September 2013, subject to validation.

Students will also be able to pick from EDEXCEL Higher National Diplomas in Public Services, Health and Social Care, Performing Arts, Engineering or Graphic Design.
