ILMINSTER Cricket Club has announced that its ever-popular bar, The Shed, is to be renamed in memory of one of the club’s greatest servants. HOLYROOD Academy’s Year 10 girl’s hockey team got their season off to an outstanding start when they achieved a 7-1 win over King Arthur’s School from Wincanton. Hannah Eke scored six goals with Lydia Harris netting the other for Chard's Holyrood school team. Player of the match – voted by King Arthur’s team – was Tanish Veale.

THE Year 8s rugby team at Holyrood Academy produced a good display to defeat Yeovil’s Westfield Academy by a resounding seven tries to two. The tries were evenly shared out, but the stand out performers were Oscar Mills, Connor Beckey and Will Board.
