THE occupants of a car which was hit by a falling tree at East Chinnock escaped without injury. MOTORISTS are being advised that the main A30 at East Chinnock on the outskirts of Yeovil has been closed due to a fallen tree. East Chinnock lies on the main road between West Coker and Crewkerne and motorists are being advised to find alternative routes. It is understood that the road is likely to be closed for much of today.
