FIREFIGHTERS had to help an elderly woman in Yeovil after she got her hand trapped in a wheelchair. The alarm was raised at just before 6.30pm yesterday to the scene in Preston Road, Yeovil, and one fire engine from the town was mobilised. Officers used small tools to help release the woman from the wheelchair. Ambulance personnel were also in attendance.
