THE President-Elect of the Rotary Club of Ilminster, Harley Pope, has handed over a cheque for £1,400 to the Children’s Hospice South West. The money was raised during a recent golf day held at Cricket St Thomas Golf Club by kind permission of the owner Steve Hill and organised by Rotarian David Dick. SUPPORTERS of Combe St Nicholas FC will be turning to pedal power on Sunday (August 30, 2015) for a fancy dress charity bike ride. The 20-mile ride will take the cyclists in Chard, down the cycle path to Donyatt, then Broadway and back through Horton to Combe.
