LEISURE: Ticket prices and bar tokens for Yeovil Beer Festival

TICKETS for this weekend’s Yeovil Beer Festival – to be staged on April 26-27 at the Westland Entertainment Venue – are available.

The opening session of the beer festival will be held on Friday, April 26, from 6pm to 11pm and tickets will cost £6.

The afternoon session on Saturday, April 27, will run from midday to 5pm and tickets will cost £8.

The evening session on the Saturday will run from 6pm to 11pm and tickets will cost £12.

A ticket for both sessions on the Saturday will cost £17.

People are advised to buy their festival tickets online early to guarantee their entry. Although some tickets may be available on the door – they will be subject to demand.

The festival bars will operate a token system as no cash will be taken over the counter.

Tokens will be available to buy on the day at £1.60 each (£8 for a strip of five tokens). The exchange rate will be: 1 Token = a half pint of beer or cider; 2 Tokens = 1 pint of beer or cider; 2 Tokens = 175ml glass of wine.
