YEOVIL NEWS: Child, two, bitten by a dog in Yeovil

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a two-year-old child was bitten by a dog in Yeovil. 

The child suffered minor injuries to her lip after being bitten by a dog described as being a German Shepherd and Staffy cross.

The incident happened in the Raglan Terrace area at around 1pm on New Year’s Day (Tuesday, January 1, 2019).

A police spokesman said: “We’re trying to trace the owner of the dog.”
