LEISURE: Three cheers for Yeovil Beer Festival!
YEOVIL Beer Festival has been hailed another great success by organisers after serving up a real treat for fest-goers.
The sixth annual festival was held at the Westlands Yeovil venue on Friday (April 13, 2018) and Saturday (April 14, 2018) where people were able to indulge in an abundance of beer and cider to quench a non-stop thirst.
People were also able to enjoy live music on two stages at the festival with funds being raised for three organisations - Yeovil Hospital Charity, Fiveways School and the Yeovil Opportunity Group.
Festival chairman Rob Sherwood said: “Many thanks to everyone who attended the event this weekend.
“We as organisers are happy, but exhausted, and the clean-up operation has been completed.”
Rob gave special thanks to the volunteer Brew Crew who helped to set up the festival, serve the pints throughout the two days, and then clear it all away.
“Every single member of the Brew Crew has worked like a Trojan as a volunteer – giving up their free time to make the event the success it has been,” said Rob.
