GLOVERS NEWS: Yeovil Town fans thanked for generous donations

THE Mayor of Yeovil, Cllr Darren Shutler, has thanked supporters who donated to a bucket collection held at the Glovers’ Sky Bet League Two clash with Newport County.

Yeovil Town may have suffered a 2-0 defeat against their Welsh visitors on Saturday (March 10, 2018), but a resounding success for the Glovers was that the bucket collection in aid of St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice and the School in a Bag charity coined in a tremendous £572.02.

The Mayor said: “We’d like to thank everyone who helped with the charity bucket collection at Huish Park. It really is appreciated with all the money being shared between two fantastic charities.”
