GLOVERS NEWS: Middlesbrough midfielder signs on loan for Yeovil Town

YEOVIL Town have completed their third January 2018 signing with the loan addition of Lewis Wing from Middlesbrough.

The 22-year-old goes straight into the squad for Saturday's (January 6, 2018) FA Cup Third Round clash with Bradford City at Huish Park having signed on the dotted line.

Becoming a Glover for the rest of the 2017-18 season, Wing arrives in Somerset with a goal scoring reputation.

The attacking midfielder netted just shy of 60 goals in two seasons at Shildon, leading to Boro snapping him up for their Under-23s.

Fresh from a 30-goal season in Northern League Division One, the exciting prospect impressed at the Riverside to earn himself a new deal until 2019.

Wing made his Middlesbrough debut in the 3-0 Carabao Cup win over Scunthorpe United before playing a key role in the Third Round win over Aston Villa.
