LEISURE: Castaways end 2017 on a festive high and now look forward to a fab 2018

THE Yeovil-based Castaway Theatre Group rounded off a magical 2017 with a festive concert at St James Church.

The talented bunch put on the concert at St James Church in Yeovil on Friday, December 15, 2017, and Saturday, December 16, 2017, with a series of songs.

The audience was packed on both nights with proceeds going towards funds for the group’s next big production at the Octagon Theatre in Yeovil which will be the ever-popular Peter Pan the Musical from Thursday, May 31, 2018, through to Saturday, June 2, 2018.

The past 12 months have been an amazing time for the Castaways with a number of performances as well as a fine production run of Bugsy Malone at the Octagon Theatre and a fantastic 20-minute medley at Disneyland Paris.
