YEOVIL NEWS: Boy, 16, airlifted to hospital after being stabbed in Yeovil

POLICE are appealing for information and witnesses after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in Yeovil on Monday (November 6, 2017) night.

 The victim was attacked in the Monmouth Road/Sherwell Close area of the town at around 10pm. He was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.

DI Lee Jones said: “This was an extremely serious assault on a teenage boy and we’re appealing for anyone with information about what happened to come forward.

“Did you see or hear anything suspicious in the Monmouth Road or Sherwell Close area of Yeovil this evening? Did you see any part of the incident?

“A full investigation is under way and we’ve arrested one male on suspicion of attempted murder.”
