GLOVERS NEWS: Bad day at the office for Yeovil Town

YEOVIL Town fell to a disappointing 2-0 defeat at Crawley Town on Saturday (September 2, 2017) in the Sky Bet League Two.

Two goals from Jordan Roberts either side of the interval did the damage as Darren Way’s Glovers slipped to their third League Two defeat of the campaign.

Roberts opened the scoring on 12 minutes and then doubled their advantage on 51 minutes with the Glovers having a bad day at the office.

It was disappointing for Yeovil on the back of a couple of decent results and performances, but shows that there is still plenty of work to be done before anyone can start suggesting that the Glovers will be pushing for a play-off spot come the end of the season.

The result saw Yeovil slip down to 18th spot in the League Two table with six points from five games played.

It was also the first time Yeovil this season Yeovil had gone a League Two game without scoring a goal.
