SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: £25k sorting bucket stolen from recycling centre

POLICE are appealing for information after specialist plant machinery was stolen from the Podimore Recycling Centre near Yeovil.

The incident happened between 9.55am and 10.15am on Monday, August 14, 2017.

A police spokesman said: “Offenders operated an excavator on site to load a sorting bucket into a large white van with an 07 registration.

“The sorting bucket weighs approximately two tonnes and is valued at around £25,000.”
