YEOVIL NEWS: Man suffers stab injuries in Yeovil attack

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an incident in Yeovil in which a man was stabbed.

Officers attended the Sherborne Road/Newton Road area at about 10.15pm on Sunday (July 16, 2017) and a 30-year-old man was located with stab injuries.

He was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not life-threatening.

A police spokesman said: “We have arrested two males on suspicion of GBH with intent and they are in custody for questioning.

“If you saw or heard anything suspicious in the Sherborne Road/Newton Road area, please call Investigations on 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5217162515.”
