ARSONISTS are being blamed for setting fire to a caravan in Yeovil in the early hours of Thursday (July 13, 2017) morning.
It was just before 3.30am when the alarm was raised to reports of a caravan on fire in Monmouth Road.
Two fire engines from Yeovil were called out and on arrival at the scene the firefighters discovered smoke coming from an abandoned static caravan.
The firefighters quickly got to work and dealt with the situation.
“The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate,” said a spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service. “Police were also in attendance.”
