LEISURE: Summer fete at Grovelands in Yeovil

RESIDENTS and staff at the Grovelands care home in Yeovil would like to invite everyone to join them for their summer celebration.

Grovelands is holding its Summer Fete on Saturday (July 15, 2017) - an event that is open to the local community.

The fete starts at 1.30pm and will have live entertainment from Yeovil Ukuele Band and Iris Jenkin on the piano.

Other attractions at Grovelands, which can be found in Grove Avenue, Yeovil, include face painting, arts and crafts, outdoor games, raffle, and various stalls.

The fete will also host a dog show, with various different categories for dogs to be awarded in.  Food and refreshments will be in plentiful supplies with an ice cream van, cake stall, sweet stall and a BBQ.

Grovelands’ manager, Ross Isbell, said: “Everyone at Grovelands is really looking forward to the Summer Fete. It would be lovely to welcome a few new faces; if you’re free, please do swing by and say hello.”
