SCHOOL NEWS: Buckler’s Mead students turn on the style for Year 11 prom

STUNNING outfits and smart suits – the young ladies and gentlemen of Buckler’s Mead Academy did the school proud at the annual Year 11 Prom.

It was a chance for the students to share one last big social get-together as a Year Group before heading off to work or further education.

They turned up in an array of different forms of transport including sports cars, camper vans, a trailer being pulled by a tractor, a wheelbarrow and even a helicopter – for the prom on Thursday (June 22, 2017) which was once again held at the beautiful Haselbury Mill venue which is situated between Yeovil and Crewkerne.

Teaching staff, including headteacher Sara Gorrod, were in attendance and also dressed in their finery for the prom and were delighted to wish the students well on life after Buckler’s Mead.
