The Cow & Apple restaurant which is based opposite St John’s Church in the heart of Yeovil is expanding to a second location down the road in Dorchester.

After a successful first year in Yeovil, the family owned and run restaurant will open on Trinity Street later this summer, continuing to celebrate the best of the South West with award-winning Red Ruby beef and artisan ciders from local producers.BUSINESS: New restaurant for Cow & Apple

Cow & Apple owner Gareth Witt said: “My family and I have been blown away by the success of Cow & Apple since we launched last year and felt now was the best time to share the South West’s great food and drink with Dorset.

“Our friends at Finca have been raving about Dorchester for ages, so when it came to looking at expansion, we didn’t look any further. Trinity Street is a great place to be and we hope to give an independently-run alternative to the big chain restaurants in Brewery Square.”

Cow & Apple will be serving up its signature locally sourced burgers including Piggyback, The Farmer’s Wife and The Gert Burger, made with grass-fed beef as well as tacos, English breakfasts and plenty of vegetarian options to hungry residents of Dorchester and beyond.

Cow & Apple will be celebrating its launch week by offering 50% off food all week and is on the lookout for talented team members at all levels. See http://www.cowandapple.co.uk/dorchester for more information.
