GLOVERS NEWS: Crunch match for Yeovil Town

YEOVIL Town fans need no reminding on how important the Glovers’ match with visiting Crewe Alexandra is on Monday (April 17, 2017) at Huish Park.

Two wins out of 23 League Two fixtures has seen Yeovil slump down the table in the second-half of the season and the Glovers find themselves perilously close to the relegation zone.

Yeovil’s 1-0 defeat at fellow strugglers Newport County on Friday (April 14, 2017) saw the gap between the Glovers and the drop zone reduced to just four points.

Another defeat on Monday for the Glovers and another win for Newport, who have a difficult trip to Plymouth Argyle, could see that gap reduced to just one point with three games to go.

With basement side Leyton Orient all but relegated, also in the firing line are Hartlepool United and Cheltenham Town.

Monday’s games of important involving Yeovil Town are as follows:

Yeovil Town v Crewe Alexandra (kick-off 3pm).

Plymouth Argyle v Newport County (kick-off 3pm).

Leyton Orient v Hartlepool United (kick-off 3pm).

Cheltenham Town v Grimsby (kick-off 1pm).
