COACH TRIP: Arlington Court and the National Trust Carriage Museum

THERE is limited availability for a trip to Arlington Court and the National Trust Carriage Museum on Sunday (April 23, 2017) being organised by Yeovil-based South West Coaches.

Arlington Court is an intimate and fascinating Regency house set in an extensive estate near Barnstaple in Devon.

Full of collections for every taste, many of them amassed by the eccentric and widely travelled Miss Rosalie Chichester, they include displays of model ships, costume, pewter, shells and other fascinating objects.

Arlington's grounds include a formal Victorian garden, a restored walled kitchen garden and acres of informal grounds featuring spectacular spring bulbs and year round colour.

The site is also home to the National Trust Carriage Museum, boasting over 45 carriages for every occasion.

Adult prices are £27.50 and £19.95 for children.
