COACH TRIP: Swanage and the Swanage Railway

SPACES are still available for a trip to Swanage and the Swanage Railway on Saturday (April 22, 2017) being organised by Yeovil-based South West Coaches.

The Swanage Railway is a heritage steam railway that runs through the Isle of Purbeck.  At six miles long the railway follows the route of the old Purbeck branch line which was closed in 1972.

The trip takes people through the beautiful Purbeck countryside and includes stunning views of the iconic remains of William the Conqueror's Corfe Castle.

Then onto Swanage, a traditional Victorian seaside town set at the heart of Purbeck and built around a beautiful bay sheltered from the north by Ballard Down and at the south, Peveril Point.

Enjoy the 'blue flag' quality beach or explore the fabulous Dorset countryside. 

Adult prices are £22.50 and children prices are £16.95.
