SOMERSET NEWS: Elderly woman gets stuck in sun lounger

EMERGENCY services were called out on Sunday (April 9, 2017) afternoon to help an elderly woman who had got stuck in a sun lounger.

The alarm was raised at just before 2.30pm to the incident in Barn Meads Road, Wellington, and firefighters discovered that the lady had got her leg trapped.

The Ambulance Service was also requested to attend, while firefighters gave the casualty some initial first aid and oxygen therapy.

The firefighters used pedal cutters and bolt croppers to release the lady from the sun lounger.
