YEOVIL NEWS: Yummy! Dessert parlour planning on coming to town!

PLANS to turn an empty town centre store in Yeovil into a mouth-watering haven for dessert-lovers could take a step in the right direction this week.

Members of Yeovil Town Council’s planning committee will discuss on Monday (January 16, 2017) two applications submitted by Kaspas (NW) Ltd for Unit 1 at Keymarket House in Middle Street.

The applicants are asking for permission for the carrying out of alterations to the shop front and the display of signs.

Kaspa’s are a chain of exciting new dessert houses that offer the world’s favourite hot and cold puddings under one roof.YEOVIL NEWS: Yummy! Dessert parlour planning on coming to town!

A company spokesman said: “Our menu boasts a mouth-watering selection of ice creams, gelatos, waffles, crepes, milkshakes, smoothies and sundaes.

“Our parlours will change the way you view dessert!”

Kaspas has said on its official website that it will be opening in Yeovil soon. The planned dessert parlour will fill the vacant build

Town councillors are being asked for their views on Monday, while a final decision is expected to be made by South Somerset District Council by February 9, 2017.

The earmarked restaurant part of the old Keymarket House building which is now also home to the Beefeater Grill Steak Restaurant and the Premier Inn hotel.
