Jones Building Group managing director, Mark Porter, said “St Margaret’s Hospice is well known in the area and has touched many people’s lives in various ways across the region.

“We were very proud to have the opportunity to carry out the internal refurbishment works and as well as enjoying an internal bake sale raising £47.98, we have chosen to make our donation up to £400 by adding £352.02 towards the hospice.

“This is our way of giving something extra back to a charity that is central in the community in which we work.”YEOVIL NEWS: St Margaret’s Hospice gets support from Yeovil building firm

Joy Milliken, clinical director at St Margaret’s Hospice, added: “The time patients spend at the hospice is always precious, and cherished by their families. We’re fully committed to ensuring that we continue to provide a comforting and friendly environment – something which St. Margaret’s is so well known for.

“This refurbishment project has been in the planning stage for over a year, and we’re delighted that the works have now been completed.

“We’re really pleased with the results, which will provide a much brighter, and more welcoming environment for patients, and their families and friends, when visiting the ward. We’ve already received a number of positive comments from patients and their loved ones.”

Jones Building Group has committed to delivering added value to the communities in which they work, whether that is through community events and sponsorship, charity donations or added social value on projects being worked on.

The internal refurbishment works have now been completed and Jones Building Group is proud to make a donation to such an important cause to our community.
