GLOVERS NEWS: Yeovil Town given home tie in Checkatrade Trophy

YEOVIL Town have been given a home tie in the Third Round of the Checkatrade Trophy which will be played in the early part of the New Year.

The Glovers have been given a tie at home to either Southampton Under-21s or Reading Under-21s. Those two sides are due to meet at the Saints’ St Mary’s Stadium on December 21, 2016, to determine who will visit Huish Park in the Third Round.

The Glovers have already beaten Reading Under-21s this season in the competition’s group stage with goals by Tom Eaves and Francois Zoko giving Yeovil a 2-0 win at the Madejski Stadium.

The Third Round game at Huish Park will take place in the week commencing Monday, January 9, 2016.
