YEOVIL NEWS: Chelsea’s pop-up salon is back at charity pop-up shop in Quedam

HAIR stylist Chelsea Millward will be cutting hair for donations for the School in a Bag charity on Monday (December 5, 2016) in the Quedam Shopping Centre in Yeovil.

Chelsea, who is a stylist at the Marley Barn Hair and Beauty salon in Yeovil, will be cutting people’s hair from 11am to 2pm at the School in a Bag’s pop-up charity shop in the Quedam.

She is hoping that her three-hour stay at the shop will help raise funds for the charitable organisation which provides SchoolBags of essential everyday school equipment for disadvantaged children around the globe.YEOVIL NEWS: Chelsea’s pop-up salon is back at charity pop-up shop in Quedam

Chelsea will be providing dry cuts for men, women and children for a minimum £5 donation towards the SIAB which was formed out of the Piers Simon Appeal which was created following the Boxing Day Asian tsunami of 2004 which resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people including that of former Preston School and Yeovil College student Piers Simon.

Chelsea, who is a fully-qualified hairdresser with five years’ experience, said: “I look forward to seeing as many people as I can fit in during my three hours at the SIAB shop.”

The SIAB pop-up shop in the Quedam will be there up until around the end of the year.

Chelsea was at the pop-up shop last Monday (November 28, 2016) and is delighted to be back again to raise funds for the award-winning charity.

She has decided to be at the charity shop doing haircuts every Monday up until Christmas.
