LEISURE: Bonfire is being built for Yeovil’s Fireworks Spectacular

WORK is underway at the Yeovil Showground site in readiness for the annual Fireworks Spectacular which is being held on Saturday (November 5, 2016).

The annual family charity event is being hosted by Yeovil Lions Club and Yeovil Round Table and it has a theme of Superheroes with the likes of Wonder Woman, Spiderman and Ironman all expected to be in attendance.

Charity supporters have been at the showground site off Dorchester Road on Friday (November 4, 2016) preparing the giant bonfire.

Tickets bought in advance are priced £7 for adults, £4 for children or £18 for a family ticket of two adults and up to two children aged three to 15.

These can be bought on-line at https://secure.yeovilfireworks.com/s/buy_tickets.php?sid=ad1692db659011e19fb70c20c8970f0d .

Tickets bought on the gate will be £20 for a family, £8 for adults and £5 for children.LEISURE: Bonfire is being built for Yeovil’s Fireworks Spectacular

The gates open on Saturday (November 5, 2016) at 5.30pm with the bonfire lit at 6.30pm.

There will be live music from 6.45pm with the superb local band DT8 and then the fireworks will begin at 8pm.

There will be a funfair, hot food and drinks, plus a beer tent.

It should be a fantastic night and raising money for the Yeovil Hospital Charity and the Children’s Hospice South West.
